About Derrick Pereira
Derrick Pereira is a renowned Indian football manager and former player, currently heading his club Vasco United FC. Being from the Mormugao area himself, he wanted to give something back to the kids of the area, and started Vasco United FC to provide the local kids a platform to play, perform and grow.
Until recently, he was the Technical Director of FC Goa in the Indian Super League. Derrick had a distinguished playing career as a defender, representing clubs like Salgaocar, the Goa state team and even the Indian national team. Transitioning to coaching, he has managed several top Indian clubs, including Mahindra United, Pune FC, and Salgaocar. Known for his strategic acumen and dedication to developing young talent, Derrick continues to make significant contributions to Indian football.
